GigaCrete Products = High Performance

PlasterMax products meet the highest fire resistance ratings – having zero flame spread and smoke developed indexes (ASTM E84) and passing the ASTM E-136 test for noncombustible building materials and UBC 26-3 and NFPA 286 stay in place thermal barriers over ICF/EPS foam.

PlasterMax exceeds all EPA, State of California, and CHPS (Collaborative for High Performance Schools) standards for indoor air quality and no detectable VOC emissions.

PlasterMax installations provide exceptional abrasion and impact resistance compared to conventional interior plaster finishes and gypsum board products.  PlasterMax DEC has compressive strengths between 3,000 and 4,000 psi.  PlasterMax new “thin coat” is over 8,000 psi when compression tested to ASTM standards.

All PlasterMax products are resistant to mildew, mold, vermin, and insects.

GigaCrete’s PlasterMax products are formulated with less water content than typical Portland cement-based materials and have reduced shrinking and cracking when properly mixed and applied.

All PlasterMax products are preblended, requiring only mixing in the field – there are no modifiers or polymer additives required and no sand needed on jobsites.

PlasterMax products are applied with conventional plastering tools and equipment and offer rapid installation times – in many cases reducing labor, equipment, scaffolding, and project carrying costs.
