PlasterMax™-DEC Decorative Interior Veneer Plaster is a one-coat decorative interior finish for residential or commercial applications. It is ideal for finishing drywall surfaces in residential applications because it is fast, economical, and offers a wide range of finishes. It can be applied in one coat as thin as 1/8-in (3mm) or built up to heavier thicknesses up to 1/2″-in. (12mm) for use over new or existing gypsum board, cement board, mag-board, monolithic concrete and unit-masonry substrates. This product’s features lend themselves to many economical and decorative applications, too such as imitation stone or rock-work.

PLASTERMAX™-DEC Decorative Interior Veneer Plaster is formulated so it requires simple mixing techniques with water only. The product is manufactured using natural limestone as a filler material and has no silica sand. Since only water is added at the jobsite, there is minimal risk of mixing errors. Depending on the application and desired finish, the product is easy to mix and apply using conventional plaster tools.

Many artistic textured finishes and other decorative treatments can be easily created. Smooth finishes, or various textures from light to heavy, can be created using typical texturing application methods. Decorative treatments can be produced by applying paints and stains over the surface; stamped textures and old-world finishes can be created using mats, forms and brushes. PLASTERMAX™-DEC Decorative Interior Veneer Plaster is designed to be environmentally responsible. Utilizing natural limestone ingredients, and uses less water than similar products currently on the market. All PLASTERMAX Plaster products exceed USEPA and California indoor air quality and VOC standards.

Product yields may also vary due to water content and substrate conditions.
